Alors que nous habitions sur une île dans l'océan Pacifique, mon époux et mon fils plongeait dans les eaux bleus alors que je restais à bord du bateau. Du haut de mon balcon, quelques curieux venaient me saluer. Des petits, des grands, de toutes les couleurs. Ce baliste titan a marqué ma mémoire par son sourire magnifique. Il est à quelques mètres de moi, il reste immergé, me regarde, me sourit et ne bouge pas. C'est une rencontre improbable et magnifique entre une femme et un poisson aux joues couleur d'or, une vague d'émotions et de liens.
J'ai appelé ma photo Pacific Smile sans hésiter.
