Julien Mikhel is a contemporary French artist who blends two seemingly opposing fields in his work: drawing and sculpture, which he has been exploring since childhood, and technology, particularly 3D design, which he encountered during his studies and engineering career. Initially driven by curiosity and later by ion, Julien gradually intertwined his artistic skills with cutting-edge technological processes. The health crisis prompted him to fully dedicate himself to this hybrid artistic pursuit, and just a year later, he exhibited his creations, which quickly gained recognition and success.

In his artistic approach, Julien combines technological modernity with traditional craftsmanship. He digitally designs his artwork before using 3D printing to create a basic polymer structure, which he then reshapes, sands, and refines by hand. The final step involves adding finishing touches with spray paint, brushes, or felt-tip pens, occasionally incorporating other materials to enhance textures or effects. Always eager for innovation, his work draws from a diverse range of influences, including street art, classical sculpture, pop culture, childhood, nature, and Egyptian mythology.

For a long time, Julien ired Leonardo da Vinci as a model—an artist and engineer who fused art and science in his own time. Through his fine, complex, and unique creations, Julien seeks to democratize sculpture, making it both accessible and original.
