born in 1946 I come from a farming family
When I retired I immediately turned to what I would have always wanted to do ' drawing'
after taking a few drawing and then painting lessons, I became self-taught and draw my inspiration from my experience of life in the countryside
My works alternate between abstract landscapes and figurative or even animal compositions, including the technique reminds me more of the masters of expressionism, I vary the pictorial techniques and am more at ease with the knife which has become my only painting technique
My influences are very eclectic which makes me say that I am an instinctive painter who likes to vary my subjects and their existential context
