Giulia De Martino is a Sicilian artist who was born in Sicily in 1992.

She also works in Sicily. She was born as a self-taught artist starting from drawing as a teenager, in the early years she approached abstract painting experimenting with acrylic and oil. After her mother's death in 2020, a great trauma for her, she decided to immerse herself totally in painting and dedicate herself entirely. In neo-expressionism she pours all her anguish with bright and intense colors, trying to represent emotionally charged and disturbing works but with an intrinsically positive message.

She deepened her studies of philosophy and approached neo-expressionism close to Basquiat. She uses acrylic and oil pastels for her most recent works, expressing herself with a very intimate, visceral and even a little childish language.
