Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. Blaine, an interdisciplinary artist, was born in Windsor ON, Canada, currently lives in Toronto and is a graduate of Fine Art from the University of Guelph. He took private study with a professional artist and also has a diploma in graphic design. Inspired by his experience as a Canadian raised on the US/Canada border, his practice bridges interests in painting, Canadian history, theatre, the cinema and nature. By combining traditional and contemporary imaging techniques, White creates pieces where we find the past and the present are not that dissimilar.
